Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the process for getting started?

Getting started is simple! We'll setup a consultation meeting with you to discuss the vision for your website, and determine the requirements for the site. Once the consultation has been completed, our web designer will create a test website for you to review, and provide feedback on the design. The web designer will update the test site based on the feedback provided, and setup another meeting for you to review the final design. When approval for the website is received by the client, the test site will be connected with the official domain associated with the business or organization.

 

2. What do I need to do to get prepared to start?

Identify two to three websites that you like (or don't like) so that we can review during the consultation meeting. Be prepared to provide a picture of your logo as well as any other pictures or content that you want to add to the site to the web designer during the consultation.

 

3. What does the web design fee include?

The fee includes designing, building and testing the website to meet all the requirements defined by the client (e.g. specific pages to be included, adding content, pictures, etc.).

 

4. What's not included in the web design fee?

The fee does not include web site hosting, domain costs, and customized email addresses. These will be additional costs for the website, and are discussed and defined during the consultation meeting as the costs depends on the type of website needed.

 

5. Is maintenance included in the design fee?

No. Maintenance is not included in the design fee. However, once your web site goes live, you will be trained by the web designer on how to add/remove content on your site when needed. If you prefer, Brimani Consulting is available to manage content changes on the site for an additional fee.
